Dr. Gary White

Board-Certified Dermatologist in San Diego

Dr. White received his BA in physics from UC San Diego where he was valedictorian. He earned his MD from Washington University in St. Louis where he graduated in the top 10% of his class (AOA). He did his dermatology residency at UC Irvine during which he achieved the highest score in the nationwide dermatology in-service exam. He has authored four dermatology textbooks, most translated into multiple languages and used worldwide. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and is the past president of the San Diego Dermatologic Society. He has served as Associate Professor of Dermatology at UC San Diego School of Medicine and is currently serves as volunteer faculty at the VA Medical Center in San Diego. Dr. White focuses his practice on medical dermatology and during his 30-year career has become a sought-after expert in acne, psoriasis, eczema, and rashes.
